Importing Promotion Codes

A code-triggered promotion can have as many promotion codes as you need even though most websites will generally have 1 code like "summer2017" that will trigger a discount.

However, if you decide to have unique promo codes for your users that you wish to email them through a mailing, then it is possible to set many codes that can be used just once. This way, your customers can feel like they are getting an exclusive offer.

To add bulk promotion codes, you can create a csv files with the codes and number of uses and import that into the "Activation Codes" section.

• The CSV file must contain 2 columns named "code" and "number_of_uses" for the import to work correctly.
• The "code" column can have alphanumercial text.
• The "number_of_uses column" must contain numerical data.

Once uploaded, you can use the mailing module to assign one code per user through the meta data section and send a personalized email to your customers.
