CRM's Interconnections With Other Modules.
Since the CRM module houses all and any user data that ever gets added to the website - through forms, ecommerce, or directly via the CRM, it is interconnected in various ways to these modules. This page will give details on how that connection is done.
Forms:
The number one way that most websites collect user data is through a newsletter signup or through a contact form. Therefore, it's important that forms have the integration with CRM turned on.
This can be found in the Integration tab of a given form.
Ecommerce:
The ecommerce section works closely with the CRM module in creating new accounts and storing addresses for a user's profile.
Anytime someone goes through the checkout process, the system automatically adds the user to the CRM and stores the contact information for the order there.
In fact, you can get to a user's profile from the ecommerce module by clicking on the user's name on an order in ecommerce.
Mailer:
The mailing module does not submit to the CRM module, but you can export your contacts to a mailing in the Mailer module and send an email blast to your target group of users.
Alternatively, you can use the import feature in the mailing to import the contacts from the CRM.
